2025-03-17 Insights > The PRIVILEGIA project has been recognized as the best architectural solution in Asia
The Privilegia residential complex is located in the Miras neighborhood of Almaty, adjacent to the Zhailau golf resort and the First President’s Park. The club house consists of 77 apartments with private terraces, a rooftop lounge area, and a Family Club leisure center. The complex is designed with a seismic safety rating of 10 points.
The project was developed by the team of the renowned Kazakhstani architectural bureau, INK Architects, under the leadership of the company’s founder, honorary member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), professor, and corresponding member of the International Academy of Architecture (IAA), Nurlan Kamitov.
"The Privilegia club house complex is truly unique," noted Nurlan Kamitov. "It is located in the upper part of Almaty, at the foothills, surrounded by a picturesque park and a golf club. To emphasize the residential complex’s class and its prime location, we designed a special architectural style that embodies all the advantages and possibilities of neoclassicism. This also allowed us to reflect the surrounding nature in the façades of the complex. The project includes terraces on all floors, enabling residents to create additional greenery, bringing a part of the surrounding landscape into their apartments."
Additionally, as the architect pointed out, the project concept includes open spaces for walking, children's play areas, and relaxation zones for adults within the complex. Inside the residential complex, there is also a cultural and recreational center featuring a gym, spaces for personal and business meetings, and venues for festive events.
The goal of the project was not to create a mass-market residential complex, Nurlan Kamitov emphasized.
"We are pleased that we managed to bring all our creative ideas and the developer’s vision to life, achieving a synergy of a complex structural scheme adapted to the seismic conditions of the area, along with outstanding layout solutions, exceptional architecture, and landscape design," concluded the renowned Kazakhstani architect.
