Kazakhstani architect Nurlan Kamitov, founder of INK Architects, has been named the winner in the "Made in Kazakhstan" category at the national "Entrepreneur of the Year 2023" competition. The prestigious event is held annually by Ernst & Young (EY) in Kazakhstan.

Architect Wins Entrepreneur of the Year Award

The award ceremony took place on January 20 in Almaty. The title of "Entrepreneur of the Year 2023" was awarded to Eldar Abdrakhmanov, founder of Centras Group.

Nurlan Kamitov is an esteemed Kazakhstani architect, an honorary member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), a professor and corresponding member of the International Academy of Architecture in Moscow (IAAM), and a member of the Urban Planning Councils of Almaty and Astana.

Founded by Nurlan Kamitov, INK Architects is one of Kazakhstan’s largest full-cycle design firms. Under his leadership, the architectural group has designed over 9.8 million square meters of multifunctional and residential complexes, hotels, cultural institutions, public, and commercial spaces over the past 20 years. This includes more than 600 projects, with a team of 100 professionals.
