The designed object is situated in a picturesque area, which is reflected in both the overall layout of the site and the compositional arrangement of the buildings that form the complex. The landscape plays a defining role in shaping the architecture, encouraging an organic integration of built and natural environments.

The library is more than just a repository of knowledge — it serves as a cultural and social hub. It includes additional zones for relaxation, open-air reading areas, and terraces that offer panoramic views of the surroundings. These thoughtfully designed spaces provide visitors with diverse opportunities for leisure, contemplation, and learning, making the library a welcoming destination for all age groups.

This aesthetic and symbolic architectural solution links Almaty's past and present, paying homage to the city's historical context while embracing contemporary design principles. The material palette reinforces this dialogue: the building’s cladding features a suspended ventilated facade with an air gap to ensure thermal comfort and durability in Almaty’s variable climate.

A curtain wall system with areas of enamelled glass marks the junctions of the building’s structural elements, creating a sense of lightness and transparency. Aluminium composite panels are used to frame the facade, contributing to a sleek, modern appearance while ensuring long-term performance. Altogether, the design expresses a timeless architectural language that resonates with its unique setting and civic purpose.
