The 18-story Sat NS Tower Business Center is integrated into the existing space of the capital's central artery, in the square of Turan Avenue, between Syganak and Dostyk Streets, close to two previously built high-rise objects of the Astana Marriott Hotel. All structures are united by an arched gallery of low-rise commercial structures extended in space between the buildings, creating a unique atmosphere of convenience and comfort.
The concept of the project was based on the principle of creating exclusively comfortable conditions for the professional and business activities of people involved in the orbit of the dynamics of modern city life, to transform the internal space for specific functional tasks. Consequently, the building was designed with flexibility in mind to provide the most efficient use of the area.
The object is located in one of the busiest districts of Astana, near the Nurzhol Avenue line, Khan Shatyr Shopping Center, the main opera theater "Astana Opera," and many cultural, administrative, and public types of objects. Therefore, one of the essential tasks for the architects was to create their own, distinct from the environment architectural solution.
In order to include the building in the existing volumetric-spatial environment of the capital's quarter, the Sat NS Tower BC composition was solved as a complex irregular pentagon in a plan. The building is located with a slight rotation of the volume on the south side and cut along the northeast line, considering all the main parameters of the size and length of the facades.
Standing at an angle to one of the busiest intersections of Astana's arteries, Turan Avenue and Syganak Street, the Sat NS Tower BC stands out with its unusual facades in the surrounding environment, showcasing its architectural beauty and aesthetic minimalism. The aesthetics of the architecture is based on the style principles of hi-tech minimalism, with extreme simplicity and laconism, while still achieving a unique balance between form and function.
