Cosmopolitan – free of national prejudices, feeling at home in any country of the world. In other words, a citizen of the world. This is exactly the way many foreign dictionaries explain the significanceof Cosmopolitan. This very idea became fundamental in the creation of a new public interior.
The Cosmopolitan Bar combines within itself a cafe, a restaurant, a bar, and a nightclub. The “floating” format of the establishment required a special approach to the organization of the space: it was essential to imbue the premises with the capacity for a swift “transformation” given the way their use changes depending on the time of day.
The basic rule in creating the interior was a lack of convention and stereotypes. All that is found within The Cosmopolitan Bar is marked by originality: a color palette built on bold contrasts and bright accents, avant-garde and post-modern furniture combined with ethnic pieces, large geometric ornaments in the form of hypertrophic geometric shapes.
The resulting creation is an interior that embodies the spirit of the new, modern Asia – at once distinctive and cosmopolitan.
