Nexpo Union is a residential complex in Astana - EXPO 2017 complex. The project is near the EXPO Congress Center, the five-star Hilton Astana hotel, and the Mega Silk Way shopping center. The district is also surrounded by the city's major scientific, educational, cultural, and business centers, with good recreational areas and developed infrastructure.
The concept of the project was inspired by the famous underground cave "Ak Mechet," with its legends and characteristic natural outlines resembling a shanyrak, as well as the singing dunes of the Altin-Emel reserve and the Onesti mounds located in the Karynzharyk depression.
The wavy podium, which houses commercial spaces and parking, is reminiscent of the singing dunes of Kazakhstan, while the buildings resemble the rock formations of Mangystau. The towers are set back from the podium's edge, and a circular opening at the top of the podium allows natural light to reach the pedestrian areas beneath the towers.
The grandeur of the architectural expression of the complex is entirely in line with creating comfortable living conditions for all its inhabitants. The company's architects have carefully designed the building program and layout for all residential and non-residential spaces. The convenient form of apartments, built-in parking lots, and commercial objects, are accompanied by landscaped courtyards and good district infrastructure. The territory allows its inhabitants to be included in the vibrant business atmosphere of the environment while still providing private zones for rest.
