The Faraby School project in Astana, designed in 2025 by INK Architects, represents an innovative approach to creating an educational environment. The project's primary goal is not simply to build an educational institution, but to create a comfortable and motivating space that fosters student development and critical thinking.
Key Principles and Architectural Solution: The architectural concept is based on dividing the academic buildings by age group, ensuring more effective interaction and individualized attention. The complex consists of three main buildings, united by a unified infrastructure:
The main building accommodates 720 students and includes administrative, library, sports, assembly, and social areas for all age groups.
The smaller building is designed for 200 elementary school students (grades 0-2), creating a more comfortable and adaptable environment for them.
An additional building for 200 students, possibly for senior classes, provides specialized space for different stages of learning. The project utilizes versatile, straight blocks that are easily scalable and adaptable to various urban locations. The complex's form is dynamic, and the façade design combines modern materials with elements inspired by the Farabi School brand.
Infrastructure and Functionality: The school was designed with the need for spacious and open spaces in mind. The interior layout ensures easy navigation, while compact solutions in the corridors and lobbies optimize the flow of people. The 2.5-hectare site includes active recreation areas, including a soccer field, volleyball court, and running tracks.
Farabi School is more than just a building; it is a complete development environment, where every element, from the architectural design to the layout, is aimed at creating a comfortable environment for learning and personal growth.
