Gagarin Park is a new city-forming object of the rapidly developing district of Almaty. It is a 9-12 story residential complex with spaces allocated for retail and business. It sites in 10 minutes of travel to the financial centres of Almaty, retail centres, health objects, high-schools, and universities. That makes it an attractive and affordable living option for the people that encourages walking and cycling as an alternative to owning cars. The complex will also accommodate a nursery for 75 preschoolers since the city is currently facing a shortage of kindergartens. Moreover, it would reduce the stress levels for the residents and car miles.

The concept of Gagarin Park architecture is a mixture of several styles - Art Nouveau and neoclassic, in harmony with the old classical Almaty buildings. Also in the composition of the facades features the stepped form and decorativeness inherent in the Art Deco style and American architecture of the 20s. The unique style of buildings is emphasized by the combination of modern decoration materials of the ventilated facade - granite, travertine, and aluminum composite panels in turquoise patina color.

Great emphasis was placed on the environmental friendliness and energy efficiency of materials. For example, stained-glass windows made of double-glazed windows and with energy-saving glass-coated Low E.
