Dara Residence is a multi-functional complex located in the heart of Astana, between Saraishyk, Turkestan, and Akmeshit Streets. It consists of six residential towers, a nine-story business center, and a two-level podium parking with commercial spaces forming a linear arrangement around it. This project was created by a multidisciplinary team of architects with international experience, designers, engineers, and urban planners.

It is the starting point of the monumental axis of the capital, crossed by the Baiterek Monument, Abu Dhabi Plaza, EXPO, and the Great Mosque. The enclosed courtyard space on top of the parking is car-free and features landscaped green zones and recreational areas for the residents. Landscaped stairs connect the podium courtyard to the street, opening towards the Baiterek Monument and offering opportunities to take memorable photographs, rest, and contemplate a panoramic view. The architecture of Dara Residence reflects the prominence of its location by incorporating the proportions of the facades harmoniously into the ensemble of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building. With the experience of New York residential buildings in mind, the complex features two residential towers connected through commercial and public spaces, ample living and light spaces, and efficient space-zoning with minimalistic decorative elements.

The facades have a decorative limestone finish and aluminum panels cladding, while the entrances have a double ceiling height with a curtain wall system. Gold-clad canopies above the entries on the ground floors protect residents and guests from harsh weather. On the fenced and guarded territory, playgrounds are designed for different age categories, sports grounds with the possibility of using different scenarios, and eco-friendly and wear-resistant materials. The landscape design focuses on natural landscaping and aims to create a vibrant and dynamic neighborhood with a combination of the workplace, entertainment, and living spaces.

The project's authors are confident that Dara Residence will affect the appearance of the city, smoothly fit into the monumental axis of the capital, and give a new turn to design standards.
