Construction of a residential complex of business class Avenue 5 has become a strategic change in the center of Astana. Located in a prestigious area at the junction of the left and right banks, the complex has become a key element in a very significant nodal area, formed by two streets (Kabanbai Batyr and Korgalzhinsky highway) and a landmark object - the capital circus. Therefore, first of all, it was necessary to take into account exactly the town planning aspects of the location of the future complex.
Before coming to a single logical and functionally sound solution when designing the residential complex Avenue 5, several completely different concepts were created, from bionic architecture to cubic minimalism. It was important to maintain the urban planning architectural line, to connect the multi-story structures around the circus with the low-rise structures along Kabanbay Batyr avenue, as well as to determine the emphasis that will allow to create the completed city view.
Having worked through a multitude of spatial combinations and variations of dominants, the fundamental planning basis of this urban planning hub was put to an end, and a laconic architectural solution that was harmonious in its image and the composition was developed, which was achieved by varying the height of the building and its unique concept of planting. The 7-story block is a continuation of the development line along Kabanbai Batyr, while the 19-storey tower completes the image of Avenue 5 and the entire architectural site as a whole. The single respectable line of commerce, which is a necessary detail on one of the main urban arteries of the rapidly developing capital became a link between them.
The residential complex with a very convenient location and a developed infrastructure, including spacious parking, children's and sports grounds, cafes and shops make life more comfortable in all senses. Huge stained-glass windows, convenient planning solutions, high ceilings and natural eco-friendly materials in combination with modern technologies of smart houses and a the protected area allowed us to create the most functional and aesthetic solution for a comfortable and safe life.
Avenue 5 is designed based on the concept of modern linear architecture, dictated by the canons of classical proportions and the play of simple materials - glass of deep blue color, light stone and the rhythm of decorative elements. This decision made it possible to preserve the harmony of the surrounding neoclassical architectural ensemble. The image of strict harmony and noble simplicity of forms is the conceptual basis of the Avenue 5 project.
