Victory over space: Central Avenue will appear in Almaty.
What do the "Big Apple"—New York—and the city of apples—Almaty—have in common?
As Nurlan Kamitov, chief architect of Central Avenue, noted, the new residential complex will be a contemporary interpretation of the Chicago school of architecture of the last century.
"We used a functionalist style with clear geometric proportions, window openings, and lines," the architect shared. "The main feature of the project is that almost all of the windows on Central Avenue face the stunningly beautiful panorama of our city. Furthermore, we tried to channel the cool summer breeze that greets the city from our mountains through the complex."
