A Kazakhstani architect has been recognized in Britain! Nurlan Kamitov has received the title of RIBA Architect.
Recognized architect Nurlan Kamitov, owner and principal architect of INK Architects, has become the first among his Kazakhstani colleagues to become a privileged member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). The title of RIBA Architect is an honorary one. Many renowned figures in the world of architecture have held it, including Thomas Heatherwick, Zaha Hadid, Norman Foster, Michael Hopkins, Nicholas Grimshaw, Frank Lloyd Wright, and Peter Oborne.
The title opens doors to markets in the UK, the European Union, and other jurisdictions. Nurlan Kamitov spoke to the business weekly Kapital.kz about whether he plans to take advantage of this opportunity.
